DECA AL is a responsible cannabis entrepreneur, a devoted father, and a man with a genuine heart for helping others. In a state where marijuana is legal to grow and possess, DECA AL’s home was recently raided by law enforcement in an overwhelming show of force, including an MRAP and numerous officers, all over a plant that is legal under state law.

This raid didn’t just target DECA AL — it traumatized his family.

His children, including his 5-year-old autistic child, were exposed to an aggressive law enforcement operation that no family should ever have to endure. The fear and confusion experienced by his kids will not be forgotten easily. No child should have to associate their home with armored vehicles and weapons, especially over something that is legal.

DECA AL has never been convicted of any violent crime. His work with cannabis has always been rooted in compassion, responsibility, and care. He has helped people with disabilities, cancer, and other life-threatening illnesses gain easier access to the medicine that improves their quality of life when other treatments failed. He isn’t a criminal — he’s a caregiver, an innovator, and a man who genuinely wants to help people.

This case is about more than one family. It is about standing up to government overreach and defending personal freedom. When the state uses militarized force against peaceful people over a legal plant, it should concern all of us.

Now, DECA AL is facing enormous legal and financial pressure simply for doing what he believed was lawful and right. Legal fees, lost income, and family expenses are piling up fast, all while he works to protect his children and fight for justice.

This fundraiser is about standing up for a father, protecting vulnerable children, and defending freedom from government oppression. Any donation, large or small, will go directly toward legal defense, family support, and helping DECA AL continue to care for his kids during this incredibly difficult time.
