On the morning of Tuesday, February 3, 2026, our father, Steven Clifton, suffered a hemorrhagic stroke that caused irreversible brain damage. He is still with us, but we’ve been told he will not recover. We are gathered with our mother, Dawn Clifton, and other family members at the hospital, staying by his side and holding onto these final moments with him.

As we prepare to say goodbye, we’re also facing the financial burden that comes with losing him so suddenly. Our father’s income helped support their household, and the loss of that support has created a hardship for our mother during an already devastating time. We are raising funds to help cover his funeral expenses and to support her as she navigates the difficult days and months ahead.
