For years, David has been a cornerstone of our music community here in Merced — nurturing young talent, encouraging adults returning to music, and creating a welcoming space for people of all ages to explore their musical passions. From guitar and piano lessons to vibrant student recitals that celebrate every milestone, Rose Music Studios isn’t just a business — it’s become a second home for families, friends, and aspiring musicians alike.

David’s passion, dedication, and countless hours guiding students through their musical journeys have touched so many lives. Now, David faces one of the biggest challenges of his life: an upcoming open heart valve replacement surgery. This critical procedure is necessary for his health and well-being — but it also means significant medical bills, time away from teaching, and added strain on the studio that so many of us call home.
