My name is Lia and as many of you know, my husband and I own Steadfast Recovery, men's sober living. Six months ago, David Moreno reached out seeking transitional housing with us and has been nothing but a joy to have in our home and in our lives. Recently, he was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer and was given only 6 months to live. I have tears in my eyes while I write this because of his strength, positivity, and determination to FIGHT for his newfound way of life. He has reunited with his son after 20+ years, just got to meet his granddaughter for the first time, and has reconnected with his sisters in CO. He is ready to seek solutions and get help so he can continue to LIVE and enjoy these rekindled relationships.
