Hello there. My name is Samantha and I am setting up this for my dad. This past year (2025) has been rough. We FINALLY have a diagnosis. He has severe cause of Crohns disease. We do have a treatment plan now in place!! We are not out of the wood work yet.

This was a rough thing for him to do as he is the last person to ever ask for anything and he is a very strong and independent man. He is my hero. Some may know him as Danny Casey. He lost his dad unexpectedly earlier this year in mid-January. He was secretly fighting a battle with his health that he thought was one thing that was actually an infection in his body. In early to mid May this year he was diagnosed with posterior midline anorectal fistula and 2 separate external openings, 1 on each buttock. He ended up having an emergency surgery just one week after the finding. That surgery has lead him to miss days of working at Purnell Sausage for the 1st time in his 41 years of Service. He now still fighting with the drainage from his 1st surgery to having an ileostomy bag so his bottom can heal. He is now at a risk of losing not only his health insurance that he is using for the 1 st time in years he could loss his job and a roof over our heads. I am doing what I can to help but he is asking for what others can give. He knows everyone is hurting now but is forever grateful.
