I’m writing this on behalf of my best friend Danielle Lind (Beaupre), as she will be facing an upcoming round of cancer treatment, and while she has shown incredible strength, the reality of what’s ahead is heavy.

Treatment requires frequent travel and overnight stays away from home. Between hotel costs, gas, meals, and transportation, the expenses add up fast and won’t be covered by insurance.

On top of that, Danielle is trying to make sure her niece (that she has custody of), Ketra, stays in school and feels safe and supported while she is away for treatment.

During this time, Ketra will need to stay with friends, which brings additional costs for food, transportation, and everyday necessities.

It’s heartbreaking to watch someone you love worry about money while preparing to fight this.

This fundraiser is about removing some of that stress—so Danielle can focus on getting through treatment and being here for Ket.
