On November 3rd, 2025, our family received the news no one ever wants to hear. Dan Potts Sr. was diagnosed with stage 4 small cell lung cancer. By the time it was discovered, the cancer had already spread to his brain, liver, kidneys, and bones. He has since undergone a procedure on his brain and will now begin an intense treatment plan that includes both chemotherapy and immunotherapy.

Dan is a hardworking, humble man who has always taken care of others and never asks for help. Because this diagnosis will prevent him from working and the road ahead will be long and challenging, his family is stepping in to ask on his behalf. The financial burden of medical bills, frequent trips for treatment, household expenses, food, and care for his youngest son, who is only 11, will be significant.
