On 1/5/26, Dan presented signs of a stroke. He was taken immediately to the hospital where scans showed the indication of multiple strokes. Dan was transported to PPMC and now he is at St Vincent.

After lots of tests, his blood was found to be positive for a Staph infection that unfortunately was also found on the valves of his heart. After a long 6 weeks, heart surgery was supposed to take place on 2/16. But after suffering a slight heart attack last week, they have pushed out surgery another 21 days. Dan has a long road to recovery.

We are helping raise funds to cover both Sandi and Dan's time off in this difficult time, as well as all the travel Sandi has between home and the hospital.
