On 1 December 2025, Daffney Bluemer was admitted to Bozeman Health Deaconess Regional Medical Center, Bozeman MT. After multiple tests, the Doctors determined she is suffering from pneumonia, kidney and liver failure, cause is linked to an autoimmune disorder.

Released from the hospital on 31 December 2025 with a referral to see a specialist in Salt Lake City, UT, several follow-up/outpatient appointments and an action plan. Daffney’s road to recovery will be long and the Bluemer family is already seeing financial challenges.

Ray Bluemer (husband) is the sole financial supporter for the family, until Daffney is fully recovered and able to go back to work. Due to the winter months and off season for construction, there are limited hours available for Ray. Unfortunately, unemployed benefits are not enough to assist them with the mounting expenses.
