December 24, 2025 — Curtis W. Fernelius Husband and Father of four beautiful children was diagnosed with life threatening Colon Cancer.

He went from a clear diagnosis to life saving surgery within a matter of hours — his family completely taken off guard, put everything in the Lords hands and broke to their knees pleading for their Brother, Son, Husband and Father of four to be saved.

He was taken into surgery — hours felt like days, not knowing what new would remain on the other side.

When the surgeon returned, He informed with bright eyes nearly crying — that “everything that we prayed for is exactly how it went” …. His life, was saved! The mass removed, and recovery in sight!

We stand here, a young family of Six, knowing clearer than ever that it is all by the Lord Jesus Christ that went before us, behind us and beside us — and by Him all was provided for, guided and seen to our perfect miracle.

Words cannot describe, the joy and gratitude our family feels, to have our daddy home.

That being said, the surgery was extensive, and his recovery is quite intense — and this young family now, stands in need of being able to make rent, groceries and bills until the medical leave is able to come into effect.

We’ve had many ask us, if we need anything— and Curtis and I always say “We would much rather give than receive every day of our life” but unfortunately— this storm of epic proportions, is leaving our young family, vulnerable and in great need of asking for help.
