Standing with Craig: A Journey of Faith, Hope, and Healing
Donation protected
Dear friends, family, and compassionate hearts,
We come to you with heavy hearts and steadfast hope on behalf of our beloved Craig Corbitt—a 42-year-old husband, father, son, and brother—who is facing the most challenging battle of his life. Just before Christmas, Craig received the devastating diagnosis of Esophageal Cancer and Peritoneal Carcinomatosis (PC), a rare and severe cancer that spreads rapidly within the abdomen. The onset was swift, and symptoms escalated quickly, leaving Craig and his loved ones grappling with this unimaginable reality during what should have been a time of celebration.
Peritoneal Carcinomatosis is particularly daunting, as it affects the lining of the abdominal cavity and often signifies an advanced stage of cancer. This progression has limited the effectiveness of traditional treatments available in the U.S., shifting the focus from curative measures to palliative care. Yet, through all of this, Craig’s faith in God has been unshaken. He believes in the power of healing miracles and trusts that God is guiding him on a path of hope and restoration.
After much prayer, Craig has chosen to pursue a holistic treatment plan at Hope for Cancer in Tijuana, Mexico. This innovative program offers a chance for healing—treating both the body and the spirit with care and intention. However, this path comes with significant financial challenges: $56,000 for treatment, plus travel and lodging expenses for an 18-day stay. Heartbreakingly, none of these costs are covered by insurance.
We are rallying together to raise $40,000 to help lift this heavy financial burden for Craig and his family. Craig is a devoted husband to his wife, Trudy, a loving father to Grace (14) and Crew (13), and a bonus dad to Isabelle (18) and Israel (16). His family is his greatest blessing, and he is determined to fight with everything he has to be there for them.
Craig and his family draw daily strength from their faith, trusting in God’s plan and the power of prayer. Your support—whether through a donation or simply by sharing this message—is a reflection of that faith in action. Every act of kindness, every prayer, and every step of support brings Craig closer to the healing he is praying for.
From the depths of our hearts, thank you for standing with Craig and his family during this incredibly difficult time. Your generosity and encouragement mean more than words can ever express. Together, through faith, love, and the grace of God, we can give Craig hope—and a fighting chance.
