Help Support Cornelio “Corn” During This Difficult Time
Sometimes the people with the kindest hearts face the hardest battles.
Many of you know Cornelio, or “Corn.” Maybe you met him at the gym, at church, at work, or maybe he was just someone who crossed your path and treated you like you had been friends for years. That’s the kind of person Corn is.
Corn is a man of God who believes in loving people the way Christ teaches us to. He welcomes everyone with open arms and treats people like family. Anyone who has had the chance to talk with him knows how genuine, caring, and uplifting he is. It’s hard to find someone who has a bad thing to say about Corn because he truly sees everyone as a brother or sister.
Right now, Cornelio is facing one of the most difficult moments of his life. He was recently taken into custody by ICE, and his family and loved ones are now facing an incredibly painful and uncertain time.
What makes this even more heartbreaking is that Corn is about to become a father. This should be a time filled with joy, preparing to welcome his child into the world and building a future for his growing family. Instead, he is facing a situation that no one should have to face alone.
Corn has always been the type of person who shows up for others. Whether someone needed encouragement, support, or simply a friend to talk to, he was always there. Now it’s our turn as a community to show up for him.
We are raising funds to help support legal expenses and his family during this incredibly difficult time. Any amount helps and will go toward giving Corn and his loved ones the support they need while they navigate what lies ahead.
