As most of you know and some may not Connie was diagnosed with stage three colon cancer. On November 7, she underwent a major surgery to remove the cancer. Praise Lord, the doctors are confident that they got all the cancer but now the fight is on. Connie will have to undergo chemo, and in eight weeks, she will have to undergo another surgery to reverse a stoma that was placed so her body could heal during this time. Her husband Robert, is the only one working in the household so as time passes by week after week, things are getting harder and a little tighter around the house. Connie already has enough to worry about and she doesn’t need to stress over bills being paid if the lights will stay on if food will be on the table.
