Hi, my name is Codi Bornhoeft. I'm a proud mom to 7 kids. I have 5 boys and 2 girls! I'm work as a CMA/CNA in a nursing home.

On December 3rd my 15 year old Bentley had a tonsillectomy. About 8 days later we called 911 due to bleeding. They did a nebulizer treatment with some medicine to make it clot. It worked for 3 days. Then the bleeding ended up even worse. As they were taking him by ambulance he started hemmoraging even more. They had to bring him back into the hospital. The intubated him and air flighted him to bismarck. They did another surgery and cauterized the wound.

It seemed like things were going well, until christmas day. The bleeding started again. Another ambulance ride back to Bismarck. They tried txa again in the nebulizer.

This morning, more bleeding AGAIN. This time they used silver nitrate on his wound.

I sit here terrified, praying to God that we are finally on the way to recovery.

I have missed almost a month of work at this point. All my sick leave and pto is gone. My husband has been trying to stay at work, but we need him especially when things are not good.

I hate asking for help, especially knowing everyone just had christmas. If I didn't have to I wouldn't be asking.

Money will go to expenses such as gas, hotel rooms, and for food bentley can eat. As well as hospital bills as he just lost his medicaid about a month ago.

The thing I ask the most is to please pray for Bentley, that if finally just heals like it should!

We just got back home from the hospital today, only to get back into the car and drive right back to the hospital due to more bleeding.

Im worn out, exhausted and we are getting to the end of our funds. Especially since I've missed almost a month of work now. Any help is greatly appreciated.
