Jeremy Schopper is the kind of person who comes into work every day with a positive attitude, inspiring the students and athletes that he works with, ensuring that they know how much he loves and believes in them. Personally, Coach Schopper has taught me just how much a little sense of humor and love can shed light on a situation, as he always makes sure to let me know how much he loves and believes in me, usually followed by one of his iconic, witty jokes.
Whether it was taking me shopping after practice to buy a suit jacket for FBLA, helping me in a history class that he doesn’t even teach, giving me advice on how I can grow in my faith, or giving me advice on how I can improve on the basketball court, Coach Schopper has had a greater impact on my life in the two years that I've known him than many people that I've known my whole life. I hope that someday, I can grow up to be half the man and father that he is.
On December 30th at around 5 pm, Coach Schopper got into a wreck on the way home from his daughter’s basketball game. Much like Coach has always helped me, I've made this GoFundMe in an attempt to help his family with the medical expenses. A bank account has been set up at Citizens Bank under Molly Schopper if you would like to directly donate there, as it is also where all this money will be sent. If you can, I ask that you help support the man who’s not just changed my life, but the life of hundreds and thousands of people who’ve gotten to meet him.
