Who is Darren "Coach" Crow?

A Coach, A Teacher, A Son, A Husband, A Dad, A Grandpa, A Friend. Most of all A Leader in all things! An individual who makes a real difference in the lives of his family and his Hanford family.

Darren, better known as Crow, graduated HHS in 1984 known for his passion and success as a long distance runner. Breaking records to hold records to this day. Hanford was such a positive part of his youth, he returned, in 2002 as an assistant coach for track. By 2005 he became the girls track coach, switching to coach the boys in 2007. Coach Crow later became the head track coach in 2017 all the while working as a substitute teacher. Throughout the years he has coached both girls and boys basketball to add football to his portfolio 10 years ago. He has been the play caller for varsity, the varsity running backs coach and the JV offensive coordinator. Track and now football are his life! You will find him in the weight room, five days week along side Hanfords committed athletes to lead a workout regiment designed for success. He lives to be a successful mentor to HHS athletes and students alike. He is known for his ability to relate to his students and athletes by being real and true to himself; creating a legacy for others to follow for generations!

Who is Darren "Coach" Crow today?

A good man with a long road to recovery. After having a cold in January, diagnosed with a sinus infection, to a diagnosis of Pneumonia on Feb 6th, he was lifeflighted from Kadlec Feb 10th to the University of Washington. Heart failure, kidney failure, damaged liver, and fluid around the lungs, immediately lead to life support measures. With a strong will and God's ear, he is with us today. He's just beginning the fight.
