I am setting this page up to help my friends Heather Sorensen and her husband, Clarke. What was supposed to be a long-deserved vacation has turned into a very difficult situation. Please give. Any amount would be appreciated. Let’s help them in their time of need!

In Heather’s words: Please keep Clarke in your thoughts. Clarke’s quite ill, and we’re in a foreign country without travel insurance, and I only speak intermediate Spanish.

Clarke is still not doing well. We’re hoping things will be better in the morning if we can just get the pain relieved enough for Clarke to sleep. He can’t sit up or stand for more than a few minutes. He feels immense pain behind his eye and the top of his head.

Back at the clinic. Clarke is really in the most pain of their entire life. No sleep for so long. I don’t know what’s going on and I’m having to make huge medical and financial decisions. I’m so scared and overwhelmed. They gave me a cot since I look so tired and stressed. Clarke is finally sleeping. I’m going to try to rest now. Please keep us in your thoughts
