On Sunday the 18th of January, Clair was involved in a freak accident while riding her horse with her daughter Taylor — something she has always loved and done with care and experience. What began as an ordinary day quickly became a nightmare.
By Wednesday the 21st, Clair required life-saving emergency surgery to relieve dangerous pressure on her brain. Thanks to the incredible medical team at the Princess Alexandra Hospital, her life was saved — but the road ahead is uncertain, and her recovery will be long and challenging. Clair remains in an induced coma at The Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane.
Clair is a devoted mum to three beautiful children — Taylor, Chloe, and Josh. A devoted 'nanny' to Taylor and partner Tom's 7 months baby girl, Oaklee. They are absolutely devastated and are now trying to navigate daily life while Clair is seriously unwell. No child should have to face this level of fear and uncertainty.
To make this even harder, the children have already experienced unimaginable loss, having previously lost their dad in a tragic car accident. This family has endured more heartbreak than most, and right now they truly need support.
Clair is one of the most hard-working, selfless people you could meet. She has always put others first and would never ask for help — but this situation has left the family facing emotional and physical strain beyond their control.
We are asking for help to support Clair and her children during this incredibly difficult time. Donations will go toward medical costs, living expenses, and ensuring Taylor, Chloe and Josh have stability and care while their mum focuses on recovery.
Any contribution, no matter how small, will make a meaningful difference. If you’re unable to donate, please consider sharing this page to help spread the word.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your kindness, generosity, and support during this time.
