Here is our story. Che has been sick for quite some time without a known diagnosis. She was suffering from severe chronic anemia, hypoglycemia, body aches, severe fatigue, and more. A few months ago, she had an episode where she blacked out. We took her to the ER where they did several tests for her heart. During one of the tests, a thyroid nodule was found, and it was cancer. She was out of work prior to this and is out of work now. Che has worked in education the majority of her career, specializing with autism and special needs students! She misses her students daily. She is very anxious to get back ! So far she had surgery to remove her thyroid/cancer and is at this time in a “trial” period where doctors are trying to find out what thyroid medications will be right for her. In the meantime, another mass was found on her ovary. No news on that yet as we are awaiting an ultrasound. Brian is doing the best he can, even currently working 2 jobs, but ends are just not being met. At this time, rent is our biggest priority and problem, followed by other bills and food. Anything that you can contribute would not go to waste and would be so appreciated.
