This go-fund me is to help offset the medical expenses and final expenses for Charlie Puckett, who has been hospitalized with malignant pleural effusion, which is a buildup of cancerous fluid. He has been diagnosed with metastatic gastric adenocarcinoma (stage 4 stomach cancer) which has spread to his lymph nodes. Due to the progression of this disease Charlie doesn't have long.

Currently Charlie is still in the hospital and insurance has denied the claim, and his wife, Kim, is working on the appeals with insurance but the bills don't wait for the insurance appeal process.

Charlie is a laborer and this has put him out of work, and his family is facing medical expenses in addition to loss of income and creating additional burdens, and the goal is to help offset the costs so that Charlie and Kim can focus on next steps.
