Hi, my name is Tiffany McDonald. I am the daughter of Cathy McDonald. As some of you know, my mother was born with heart issues and has had several strokes over the years. She has had a total of 4 heart surgeries. My mom participated in a study at UAB to repair her heart. Her major fear was to have a stroke, but her will to live was strong. We had this surgery, but sadly, two months later, Mom had a massive stroke. In three of her lobes, she is a medical miracle and is up walking, but her cognitive and speech abilities have been lost.

We are in an intensive therapy program at UAB, and while I am by her side, I am out of work. I am asking for any donations to help cover bills, gas, and food during this time.
