We are reaching out on behalf of our dear friend, Carol, who is bravely battling Grade III breast cancer and walking through one of the hardest seasons of her life.

Carol is a 40-year-old mother to three beautiful children—ages 10, 6, and 2. She has spent her career as a nurse, faithfully caring for others with compassion and dedication. Today, she is the one who needs our care, our prayers, and our support.

In May of this year, Carol received the heartbreaking diagnosis of Grade III breast cancer. Since then, her days have been filled with appointments, difficult treatments, and the exhausting physical and emotional impacts of ongoing chemotherapy. She is scheduled for major surgery early next year—a double mastectomy, followed by an oophorectomy.

Because of her treatment, Carol has been unable to work. Her husband, who works as a carer on minimum wage, is doing everything he can for their family. However, he cannot take extra shifts due to their responsibilities at home: their 6-year-old is nonverbal and autistic, their 2-year-old requires full-time attention, and their oldest child is only 10. Despite their best efforts, the weight of their situation has become overwhelming.

Adding to their hardship, Carol is still under visa sponsorship, which means she is not eligible for government benefits or financial support. Rent, bills, groceries—every need feels heavier with each passing week.
