Tonight, a heartbreaking tragedy struck our community in Horseshoe Bay, Texas. Carla — a dear friend of my mother — lost her condo in a devastating fire. In a matter of moments, everything she knew as home was gone.

Tragically, this fire also claimed the life of Carla’s brother and her beloved pet cat. The emotional loss alone is immeasurable, and on top of that, Carla is now facing the reality of starting over with nothing. She did not have insurance, which makes this situation even more overwhelming.

Carla is someone who has always been kind, caring, and generous to others. Now she needs help. Every single donation, no matter the amount, will go directly toward helping Carla rebuild her life — covering immediate necessities, housing, clothing, and the long road ahead.
