Help My Little Sister Camila Fight

Camila is only 6 years old. She is a happy, beautiful, loving little girl who is absolutely full of life. She has so much personality, so much love to give, and so much life ahead of her. She should be worrying about playing, laughing, being silly, and enjoying being a kid — not hospitals, doctors, & MRI scans.

Recently, everything changed for our family.

We started noticing that Camila just wasn't acting like herself. There were little changes that didn't feel right, and we knew something was different. After taking her to the hospital and having doctors run tests and imaging, our worst fears became a reality. They discovered a tumor in her brainstem, and Camila was diagnosed with Diffuse Midline Glioma (DMG), a rare and aggressive brain tumor.

There are no words that truly explain what it feels like to watch your little sister go through something so frightening. One moment, you're thinking about everyday life, and the next, your entire world revolves around doctors, treatment options, appointments, and hoping and praying for more time with the little girl you love more than words can explain.

Camila has a long and difficult road ahead of her. Our family is doing everything we can to give her the best care possible and to be by her side every step of the way. But with treatment comes medical expenses, travel, lodging, medications, time away from work, and countless other costs that we never expected to face.

That is why I am asking for your help.

The money raised will go toward Camila's medical care and treatment, travel to specialists and appointments, lodging, medications, daily expenses, and anything else our family may need as we navigate this journey with her.

I wish I could take this away from her. I wish I could trade places with her. But what I can do is stand beside my little sister and fight with her every step of the way.

Camila is so much more than her diagnosis. She is a daughter, a sister, a granddaughter, a friend, and a little girl who deserves the chance to grow up and experience all the beautiful things life has to offer.
