In 2020, my world was turned upside down when I was diagnosed with a serious brain condition (meningioma) that required major brain surgery. That first surgery was terrifying, but with the support of my family and my faith, I made it through. However, in 2024, the unthinkable happened: I had to undergo a second major brain surgery. Recovering from two such traumatic procedures has been physically and emotionally exhausting.

Despite my strength and the will to live, my doctors have explained that the battle is not over. To prevent further growth and to finally stabilize my condition, I urgently need a specialized treatment called Stereotactic Radiation. This is a precise, high-tech procedure that targets the affected areas in my brain without the need for another open surgery.

The best chance for my survival and recovery is to have this procedure done in Miami, where the specialized medical equipment and expertise are available. However, as someone living in Jamaica, accessing this life-saving treatment comes with an enormous financial burden.

As a two-time brain surgery survivor, I am no stranger to pain and struggle, but the weight of this financial obstacle is heavier than anything I have had to carry before.
