On January 14th, Camden was in a terrible accident that resulted in the loss of his right leg. It is only due to the fast actions of bystanders and first-responders that he didn't also lose his life. We are so thankful that he has made it through those first terrifying hours and days. After 4 surgeries, and a week of hospitalization, Camden has been sent home and seems to be on the fast-track to recovery, but there are still so many challenges that lie ahead for him and his family.
Camden has always been a very active guy, not just physically, but within his community. From animal rescue to organizing events for men's mental health, he and Faren are always on the move. Camden is determined that losing a leg won't stop him, but it will definitely be a challenge to adjust to a new way of life. The primary goal of this fundraiser to to help cover some of the medical costs of his recovery, support him until he able to work again, for a good prosthetic that will help him get back on two feet as quickly as medically possible.
Camden and Faren are extremely resilient. They're not the type to ask for help, or even accept it when it is offered. But this is a life-altering event that they will not be able to bounce back from without support. So many of you have already come through full force with that support and we couldn't be more grateful for each and every one of you who have been able to donate or share so far.
