Help support Cam’s bowel & trach surgery recovery

Update : cam had to have trach surgery. We are in week 4 in hospital and my job as his provider if 59 hours per week can not be paid while he is in the hospital per state rules even though I am helping my son here while in hospital.
So I will not be paid until we go home and even then it will be 2 weeks before I receive any pay. Also I will be splitting my hours with a skilled nursing services per insurance . Which means I take a pay cut ( half my pay) . However I’m still working and helping my son no matter what of course.
Cam is doing well and he is looking forward to going home as soon as he can since soon it will be a month of being in hospitals.
We thank you all for continued prayers support and just loving us .
God bless you all

Thank you all for your prayers for Cam and our family, we truly appreciate them. Cam is still intubated and we have been fighting against a trach, but obviously, we want what's best for Cam. He has done trials to wean off the vent, going back to his home vent while intubated, and although his oxygen levels were good, it didn't feel great to him. He felt as though he couldn't breathe, given the bowel surgery he just had 14 days ago. We were also told that a trach is a safer route with a possibility to go back to BiPAP settings later while still healing, you never know what God will do. So, it is possible he will need the trach surgery. Cameron has been a warrior through the entire thing, after all, he is Cam the man. We have been in the hospital for 2 1/2 weeks, as many of you know, I am his primary provider and caregiver. Going forward, I will be the same, but sharing my hours for skilled nursing, which is required for trachs, until everyone's comfortable. And also looking for another part time job to pay for things . Also, while in the hospital, they do not pay the provider, even though I'm in the hospital with him, working for him and that's okayand understandable however being a single momma who relies on my income to pay bills for the apartment and van and all the things that is needed for Cameron and that is very scary . The lost wages are trending up facing lost 59!hours a week for a two week  total of 118 hours So after some advice and suggestion from a friend they encourage me to do a go fund me for lost wages while I’ve been in the hospital with cam spending every night here. Facing the possibility of a Trach surgery we will be in the hospital for up to a week to two weeks after it depending on various factors. I would try to get a second job but that would mean that I leave Cameron by himself all day in icu because my family has to work and won’t be there everyday because of work . So I’m putting this out there to let you all know that if you feel like you can help me and cam with this in any way we greatly appreciate it and even if you can’t help just sending prayers and good thoughts our way is enough too . Also Cameron will need a Tobi pilot for eye gaze communication as with a trach speeche might be impaired and we are checking to see if insurance pays right now we don’t know but after he is all set at home going forward will need a way to communicate We love you all and may God bless you
Thank you all for your continued love prayers and reaching out and checking on us and the acts of kindness along the way we love you
