Hello, everyone. I'd like to start by introducing myself and naming a few things about me. My name is Briienna mccowan and I'm 23 years old. My hobbies include reading, spending time with family and being artsy in between. I'm just another young woman in her 20's finding myself as well as my way in this world.

I never imagined I'd be writing something like this, but life has taken an unexpected and very unfortunate turn. Much to my dismay, I've recently been diagnosed with thyroid cancer. Hearing those words has been overwhelming to say the least, and since then I've been focused on navigating appointments, testing, treatment plans, and the emotional turmoil that comes with a cancer diagnosis.

While I am staying hopeful and determined to fight this, the financial burden of medical care is quickly becoming a challenge. Between hospital visits, and procedures, the costs continue to add up.

Asking for help is not easy for me, nor has it ever been my first resort. I'm swallowing my pride and reaching out for help because I cannot do this alone. Any donation, no matter the amount, will go directly toward covering medical expenses and easing some of the financial stress so I can focus on my health and recovery.
