Hi everyone, my good friend Callie and her family are battling an unexpected battle. Her husband Brent was admitted to the hospital earlier this year with severe abdominal pain. He was treated and cleared a couple days later, with some serious but treatable problems. However, he was recently re-admitted to the hospital with appendicitis. He has been undergoing severe complications with the surgery to remove his appendix, and they are unclear how long he will be in the hospital. He is currently fighting for his life. Medical bills are piling up and with Brent out of work, they are facing the scary reality of how to afford everything. After knowing Callie and her family for several years, I have learned truly how thoughtful and generous they are. Callie is such a light to this world, always offering support when needed and helping people any way she’s able to. Brent is a hard worker, and strives to provide for his family.
