Hi everyone, my name is Erin, and I’m reaching out to help raise funds for my nephew—my sister Marybeth Barrett, by choice’s son—Brayden Grohs.
Brayden was diagnosed with Neurofibromatosis Type 1 (NF1) at just 3 years old. He is now 21, and unfortunately, this progressive genetic disorder—which causes tumors to grow on neural tissue throughout the body—has once again taken a toll on his life.
As a child, Brayden bravely went through chemotherapy and surgeries. Now, after all he has already endured, the tumors have returned, and he is facing chemotherapy once again. No young adult should have to go through this, especially after already fighting so hard in childhood.
Brayden is one of the most hardworking and selfless people you could ever meet. He would truly give the shirt off his back to help someone else. When I say he has a heart of gold, I mean it—you won’t find another person like him.
During this time, Brayden will be intermittently unable to work while undergoing treatment, which is going to be incredibly difficult for him. He will also be traveling frequently to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York, often multiple times a week, with some overnight stays required for testing and treatment.
I’m asking for any support you can give to help ease the financial burden he and his family are facing during this incredibly challenging time. Every single donation—no matter how small—will make a difference.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for taking the time to read this and for any support you can offer Brayden and his family. ❤️
If you cant provide monetarily please pray for Brayden and his family.
