On December 21, 2025, Brayden and Jordyn were involved in a devastating accident. They were riding Brayden’s bike when they were struck by a car. Brayden was seated on the seat, with his stepsister Jordyn sitting on the frame between him and the handlebars. In a split second, Brayden took the majority of the impact, instinctively shielding his sister the best he could. Jordyn was released from the hospital with severe road rash, multiple cuts and bruises, and stitches in her chin. While her injuries were painful and traumatic, we are grateful she survived. Although Jordyn was injured, her mother has asked that any donations raised go directly toward helping Brayden with his medical bills and recovery needs. Brayden’s injuries were far more severe. He was life flighted to the hospital, where doctors confirmed a broken leg requiring surgery. A rod and plate were placed in his leg, and he also sustained a fractured elbow and a fractured eyebrow bone. He has a long and difficult road to recovery ahead. When Brayden is released to go home, he will require a wheelchair and ongoing care. Because of this, Brayden’s mother will be out of work for the foreseeable future as she cares for her son. The financial burden of medical bills, recovery expenses, and everyday household costs is overwhelming. Any support, whether through a donation or simply sharing this would mean more than words can express.
