Good day everyone. One of our own Local 249 members had a medical emergency recently. Blake Gamm was diagnosed with cellulitis in late February that took a turn for the worse. The infection went septic and caused him to be placed into a medicated coma and on a ventilator. He was given a five percent chance of survival. Fortunately, he did survive! He is awake, coherent, and on the slow road to recovery. As any of us know, a lengthy stay at a hospital can break banks and morale. That’s why we have come here.

We all want this man to recover without the worries of financial hardship that occurs after such a life-changing medical emergency.
