Standing with Baby Nora and Her Family

My name is Brad Vanderburg, and I am a paramedic with Central EMS in Washington County in the state of Arkansas. One of my co-workers, Anthony Pangle, and his wife Rachel, had a baby girl, Nora Marie Pangle, born on 02/11/2026. All seemed to be going well until it wasn't. About a week after she was born, she presented with some respiratory issues. Seeking medical attention as should be done, the Pangles found that baby Nora had hydrocephalus with increased pressure on the brain. The baby was transferred to Children's Hospital in Kansas City for further evaluation and possible surgery. Once she was being evaluated in Kansas City, it was determined that baby Nora appears to have some permanent brain damage that may affect her ability to speak or walk. (This will be a future battle that will need to be attended to.) Obviously, mom and dad went with her. That being said, Anthony, who is the sole provider for his family, is missing out on work and a paycheck. Bills are continuing to mount, and the real world doesn't stop for anyone. We are reaching out to as many as we can in hopes that we can offset some, if not all, of the financial burdens. In addition to the day-to-day expenses, there will be medical bills of a large nature that will also need to be attended to. If you find it in your heart to be able to help out, please donate. As with any fundraiser for any situation like this, anything helps.
