My 19 month old son Azriel Barraza was the victim of child abuse. He has been hospitalized since August 8 of 2025. He was recently discharged on February 4. Due to the extent of the injuries he sustained from this crime he was left paralyzed on his right side without control of his right arm and leg. He is now permanently blind and a lost over 55% of his brain. He had to have seven different surgeries on his skull and brain and 2 gastrointestinal surgeries in order to keep him alive and progressing. After six months, he was finally discharged from the hospital, but now he starts years of rehab and learning how to live with his disabilities. Throughout this whole time, I was not able to work and now that we are back home due to how many doctor appointments and therapies he will require, I will still not be able to return to work. He has fought so hard to get to the point that he is at and he is a true miracle and a show of God‘s power. There are so many expenses regarding living, transportation, and overall necessities that we will need to be there for my son. I would sincerely appreciate any help that you all can give even if it’s just thoughts and prayers.
