Hi, my name is Tatyana. I am Arlette’s younger sister, and I am writing this on behalf of our entire family and her loving husband.
On Wednesday, December 24th, our lives were turned upside down when Arlette was rushed to the hospital after suffering a seizure. Her husband acted quickly and took her to St. Rose Hospital, where she experienced another seizure and began repeatedly losing consciousness. Watching her struggle to stay awake was terrifying. At one point, her lips and knuckles turned blue, and we feared we might lose her.
Doctors soon discovered that Arlette was showing early signs of heart failure, making the situation even more critical. She was immediately transferred to UCSF Medical Center so she could receive specialized care for her heart and overall condition. Since arriving at UCSF, Arlette has been fighting for stability while doctors work around the clock to determine the cause and create a plan for her recovery.
This has been an incredibly emotional and overwhelming time for our family. Arlette’s husband has not left her side, balancing fear, hope, and the uncertainty of what comes next. No family is ever prepared for something like this, especially so suddenly. The stress of medical bills, travel, time away from work, and recovery costs continues to grow as we focus on supporting Arlette through this fight.
We are asking for help during this difficult time. Any donation, any amount, will go toward medical expenses and the costs associated with Arlette’s recovery and care. We kindly ask that you share this fundraiser and keep Arlette in your thoughts and prayers. Your support means everything to our family, and we are deeply grateful for the love and kindness being shown during this unimaginable time.
Thank you so much.
