Our family is asking for prayers, support, and donations for Arlene Wyche, who was recently involved in a devastating three-vehicle crash on Gloria Switch Road in Carencro. According to the news report, the crash involved a Nissan Sentra that crossed the center line, first striking a truck/trailer and then hitting a 2025 Buick head-on. Arlene was the driver of the Buick. We are heartbroken for the life lost in this accident, and at the same time, we are deeply grateful that Arlene survived.

Although Arlene is alive and in good spirits, her injuries are severe and her recovery will be long. She suffered a broken ankle, hip, and knee on her left leg, and doctors have placed pins and rods throughout much of that leg to help repair the damage. She also has a broken collarbone/socket and wrist on her left side, along with multiple large lacerations across her body that required stitches.

Arlene now faces a difficult road ahead, including continued medical care, rehabilitation, follow-up appointments, mobility challenges, and time away from normal daily life.
