My name is Emmy Robbin, and I am writing on behalf of my friend, Anya.

Anya is a licensed midwife in Texas. She has spent years supporting women and families during some of the most meaningful moments of their lives. I have seen firsthand how devoted she is - both to her work and to her son.

On February 5th, Anya dropped her 9-year-old son off at school like any other morning. That afternoon, her world changed.

Her son was relocated abroad without her consent, without any warning, in the middle of the school year. Since that day, Anya has not had any direct contact with him and does not have consistent information about his exact address or school details.

Anya and her former spouse divorced in 2018. Under the existing Texas court order, Anya was designated the primary custodial parent, and her son primarily resided with her in Texas.

There is now an active custody case in Texas, including a Habeas Corpus proceeding. Anya is pursuing every lawful step available through the court system to restore stability and protect her son’s right to a consistent relationship with his mother.

International custody cases are legally complex and financially overwhelming. To date, Anya has already spent over $20,000 in legal fees.
