Update:

With a broken heart, I share that my husband, Andrew, passed away yesterday on his 44th birthday after a courageous battle with cancer. He fought with everything he had. He fought with everything he had. Anyone who knew Andrew knows that giving up was never in his DNA. His mind never stopped fighting, even when his body could no longer keep up. We trust that he is now at peace and held in God’s loving care.

We shared almost 20 years together, more than half of my life, and he was truly the love of my life. Andrew was my rock, my biggest motivator, and my constant source of strength. He believed in me even when I doubted myself and pushed me to be better in every way. He had an incredible gift of believing in people and in what they were capable of, often before they believed it themselves.

While he leaves behind so many memories and lessons, the greatest gift he gave me is our son, Castor, a piece of Andrew that lives on. I pray that Castor carries his father’s kindness, grit, strength and courage. Andrew’s legacy lives on through him and through all the lives he touched.

Thank you for being here and for surrounding Andrew, Brenda, and their beautiful 1-year-old son, Castor, with love during this incredibly difficult season.

Andrew is a fighter in every sense of the word. Since the start of this year, he has faced the hardest battle of his life as he fights cancer, showing strength and courage even on the most challenging days. He is deeply loved by his family, his friends, and by all who have had the blessing of knowing him. Andrew is a devoted husband, a loving father, and a man whose faith has always been a light to those around him.

Through every moment of uncertainty, Brenda has remained by Andrew’s side with unwavering love, while also caring for their sweet baby boy. Though this journey has been filled with fear and exhaustion, their trust in God has not wavered. Even in the darkest moments, they continue to lean on His promises, believing that He is walking with them every step of the way.

This GoFundMe was created as a way for us to come together to lift some of the heavy burdens they are carrying so they can focus on what matters most: healing, rest, and time together as a family.
