Hi, my name is Andre Brantley. On February 5th, my life changed forever. On this day, I went in for a routine prostate cancer removal procedure, with 1 night of observation.

During surgery, I experienced sudden heart failure and my lungs filled with fluid and collapsed and my heart function dropped to 10%. My family was told I may not live.

I was placed on 2 forms of life support. The first ECMO, a form of advanced life support that helps my heart and lungs function and the second was a ventilator that breathed for me.

Although I am no longer on those devices, I have been in the hospital for almost 60 days and have a lengthy rehabilitation agenda ahead of me to relearn many of the everyday things most of us deem normal in life. This whole situation has placed a huge financial strain on my household.

Which is why I am writing, I am asking, from the bottom of my heart, first for your prayers and secondly for financial donations.
