Ayudemos a Ana en su lucha contra el cáncer de mama

Ana no es cualquier persona. Es de esas que siempre tienen una sonrisa, que te hacen reír aun en días difíciles, y que de verdad cree que todo va a salir bien. Es fuerte, optimista y tiene un corazón enorme. Para mí, además, es mi cuñada, la esposa de mi hermano, y alguien muy importante en nuestra familia.

En noviembre de 2025, su vida cambió cuando fue diagnosticada con cáncer de mama.

Desde entonces ha sido un camino pesado. Ya lleva 5 quimioterapias, y aún le faltan 3 más antes de poder llegar a la operación. Después de eso, viene una cirugía donde le removerán un pecho y también ganglios de la axila.

Y el proceso no termina ahí.

Después de la operación, vienen las radiaciones (10 en total) y 12 quimioterapias, con efectos secundarios que requieren mucha supervisión médica.

Todo esto se extiende, más o menos, hasta febrero de 2027.

Aunque el IMSS está cubriendo los tratamientos, la realidad es que el impacto económico ha sido muy fuerte. Después de cada quimio, Ana no puede trabajar. Hay muchas citas médicas, análisis, estudios constantes… y además, su alimentación ha tenido que cambiar, lo que también aumenta los gastos.

Pero lo más difícil no es solo lo físico. Todo esto también pesa emocional y mentalmente.

Aun así, Ana sigue siendo Ana: con su buena actitud, su sentido del humor y sus ganas de salir adelante.

Mis hijos y yo nos quedamos con Ana y mi hermano cuando vamos de visita. En estos últimos meses, cada vez que le pregunto si está bien que vayamos, que cómo se va a sentir, su respuesta siempre es la misma: “No importa, ustedes vénganse. Y si me siento mal, pues me acuesto ya sea en el sillón o en mi recámara, pero ustedes no dejen de venir.” Así es ella… siempre pensando en los demás, aun en medio de todo lo que está pasando.

Hoy estamos pidiendo tu apoyo para ayudarla a cubrir todos esos gastos que no se ven, pero que se sienten todos los días.

Let’s Help Ana in Her Fight Against Breast Cancer

Ana is not just anyone. She’s the kind of person who always has a smile, who makes you laugh even on hard days, and who truly believes everything will turn out okay. She’s strong, optimistic, and has a huge heart. To me, she’s also my sister-in-law, my brother’s wife, and someone very important to our family.

In November 2025, her life changed when she was diagnosed with breast cancer.

Since then, it has been a long and difficult road. She has already gone through 5 rounds of chemotherapy, and still has 3 more to go before she can have surgery. After that, she will undergo a procedure to remove a breast as well as lymph nodes from her underarm.

And the process doesn’t end there.

After surgery, she will go through radiation (10 sessions in total), followed by 12 more rounds of chemotherapy that are just as intense, with side effects that require close medical monitoring.

All of this is expected to continue until around February 2027.

Even though IMSS is covering the treatments, the financial impact has been very heavy. After each chemotherapy session, Ana is unable to work. There are constant doctor visits, blood work, and other tests… and her diet has also changed, which brings additional expenses.

But the hardest part isn’t just physical. This has also taken an emotional and mental toll.

Even so, Ana is still Ana—with her positive attitude, her sense of humor, and her determination to get through this.

My children and I stay with Ana and my brother when we visit. Over the past few months, every time I ask her if it’s okay for us to come, wondering how she might be feeling, her answer is always the same: “It doesn’t matter, you guys come. And if I’m not feeling well, I’ll just lie down on the couch or in my room—but don’t stop coming.” That’s who she is… always thinking of others, even in the middle of everything she’s going through.

Today, we are asking for your support to help her cover all those everyday expenses that often go unseen, but are deeply felt.
