I am Renee Bade, the Executive Director of Anser Charter School. On December 28, 2025, Anser's amazing kitchen staff member Amy Leland's mother suffered a massive stroke, which required multiple surgeries and heavy sedation. As her Power of Attorney, Amy has had to travel back and forth to Sacramento, California, multiple times as she works to determine next steps and transition her into a long-term health facility. As you can imagine, the cost is high as she has had to purchase multiple plane tickets, and travel costs will continue to increase as she works to bring her mother to Idaho.
