My name is Seamus, and I’m raising funds to help cover critical medical and mental health treatment expenses for my wife, Amanda.
Over the past several months, Amanda has been navigating severe mental health challenges that required multiple levels of care. This has included inpatient treatment at Oro Valley Hospital and, more recently, involuntary hospitalization at El Dorado Springs. These stays have been necessary for her safety and stabilization, but they have also created overwhelming medical bills that insurance has only partially covered.
As her husband, I’ve been managing our household and caring for our children while working to ensure Amanda receives the help she truly needs—not just short-term stabilization, but meaningful, long-term recovery. Based on medical guidance, we are now pursuing placement at Sabino Recovery in Tucson, a trauma-focused residential mental health program that provides intensive, individualized care beyond what acute hospitals can offer.
Sabino Recovery is an all-inclusive residential program with a minimum 35-day stay, and the cost is significant and largely private pay. This GoFundMe will help cover past hospital expenses, ongoing medical costs, and the next step in Amanda’s treatment so she has a real chance at healing and stability.
Any support—whether through donations or sharing this page—means more than we can express. Thank you for helping our family through one of the hardest chapters of our lives.
Update 1/16/26
After reviewing outstanding medical bills and transitioning to an insurance-covered residential treatment option, we’ve updated our goal to more accurately reflect our current and anticipated medical expenses. We are so thankful for the kindness and generosity we’ve received so far, and for any continued support as we navigate this journey.
