My name is Rhea, my mother, Alice Tulio, is in the Philippines fighting lung cancer. She is currently on a ventilator in the ICU. We have recently just lost our father last year and our mother has been in and out of the ICU for the last 9 months. With the bills accumulating from her previous admissions, we can hardly catch up. The way the Philippine system of healthcare works, everything has to be paid for before services can be provided. My mother is a retired accountant and only has basic government insurance that covers very little of the final bill. We are knocking on your doors to ask for a little financial help to pay the bills and sustain her medications in the hospital.

Our mother has been the glue that binds us all in our family. We would like to give her the best care we can. She is a fighter and has been fighting all her lives. She has sacrificed alot to help and she has help a lot of people financially. Since our dad's passing we have been struggling to provide much for her treatment.
