On April 16th, my daughter and five-year-old granddaughter were attacked by two dogs. They were airlifted to DeVos Hospital last night. My daughter, Destiny Michael, sustained severe injuries when she threw herself on top of Alice to protect her. Destiny has been discharged to remain in Alice’s room. The injuries Alice sustained are gruesome. She had to have a blood transfusion and underwent a 6.5-hour surgery. The doctor told me last night that recovery will be long and extensive.
