Ali Kliefoth is a caring, intelligent, and joyful sixth grader who loves her family, friends, pool and lake life, and sports. She is a genuine friend-one who draws others in, bringing laughter on trips to Target, sending funny messages, or making dugout TikTok videos together. She is committed to school and athletics, and to living your best life through kindness-mixed with a little spunk-each and every day.
She is also a courageously strong preteen that as been living with a brain cancer diagnosis since December 2025. After a lengthy surgery, she has continued to fight with determination, first through six weeks of radiation treatment, and now currently, as she undergoes a clinical study at Lurie's Children's Hospital in Chicago, traveling monthly for labs, tests and for two medications used to block her body's receptors to the tumor.
Throughout the last five months, Ali has spent much time in and out of hospitals, MRI rooms, and recuperating at home when it has been needed. She and her family have worried, prayed, and battled.
And yet, Ali has also returned to school, has enjoyed sleepovers with friends, has trained with her softball team, and celebrated a twelfth birthday full of smiles. She and her family have hoped, prayed, and celebrated.
Life often presents itself in this way-ups and downs, highs and lows, battles and celebrations. Ali's life throughout the past five months have been just that, and we have been so thankful for all of the support of the community that has wrapped their arms around her. Thank you so much.
And so, we continue to ask you for your support in Ali's cancer journey. Navigating through these last few months has presented accumulating insurance deductible payments related to Ali's care, and intermittent housing and travel costs for repeat trips to receive treatment.
We thank you in advance for any support you can give. Your support, both emotional and financial, has been, and will continue to be, extremely appreciated as we move through this journey.
Blessings and prayers your way,
Family and Friends of Ali Kliefoth
