Dear Friends and Colleagues,
We are reaching out with heavy hearts to ask for your support for our friend, student, and colleague, Alexander Cureno. Earlier this week, Alexander’s home was unexpectedly condemned after a devastating accident involving a U-Haul truck and his apartment. He will need to wait until the building is secured before he can retrieve his belongings, and then begin the difficult process of relocating.
Despite this sudden and overwhelming challenge, Alexander remains strong and hopeful. Just last week, he celebrated the birth of his son, and this fall he plans to continue his education at LTCC while also serving as a valued employee on campus.
In his own words, Alexander shared: “I am going to strive my best to accommodate everything in life as a priority. I appreciate you offering this extensive support in my life. Even just encouraging words is helpful during these moments.”
This resilience and positive outlook embody who Alexander is. Still, as he navigates the challenges of fatherhood, school, and work while rebuilding his home life, any support you can offer, whether financial or through kind words, would mean the world to him and his family.
Thank you for considering helping Alexander and showing him that his community stands beside him.
