Hello,
My name is Andrew Carroll, Principal at Buckeye Community School in Springfield, Ohio. I’m writing this as one of Alan Quisenberry’s coworkers, with a heavy heart and a deep desire to help. Alan is someone who has always shown up for others through his hard work, kindness, and quiet dedication. Seeing him face the loss of his son is heartbreaking beyond words. I started this fundraiser because no parent should have to carry this kind of grief while also worrying about how to lay their child to rest. My hope is that, together, we can lift even a small part of that burden and remind Alan that he is not alone. Thank you for reading, for caring, and for any support you’re able to give.
Title: Standing With Alan Quisenberry After an Unimaginable Loss
Fundraiser Description
There are moments in life that words can never fully carry. This is one of them.
Alan Quisenberry is a father, a coworker, and a pillar of our community. Day after day, he has shown up early, worked hard, and cared for others through his role as a cook and custodian. His work has fed people, kept spaces safe and clean, and supported countless lives.
Now, Alan is facing the greatest heartbreak a parent can endure: the loss of his son.
Nothing prepares a parent for this kind of grief. Alongside the overwhelming emotional pain, Alan is now confronted with the sudden and heavy financial burden of cremation and funeral expenses—costs no family should have to worry about while mourning a child.
This fundraiser exists so Alan does not have to carry this alone.
Every dollar raised will go directly toward:
1.) Cremation services
2.) Funeral and memorial arrangements
3.) Necessary end-of-life expenses
Your donation is more than financial support—it is a message to Alan that he is seen, valued, and not alone. It is a way to wrap compassion around someone who has spent so many years serving others.
If you’ve ever been touched by Alan’s kindness, worked alongside him, or simply believe that no parent should walk this road without support, please consider giving. No amount is too small. Even the smallest contribution helps lift a piece of the weight he is carrying.
If you’re unable to donate, sharing this fundraiser or keeping Alan and his family in your thoughts means more than you may realize.
Thank you for choosing empathy. Thank you for choosing to stand with Alan during the darkest chapter of his life.
