I never imagined I would be writing something like this.

On January 3rd, my girlfriend, Addie, was hit by a car in a hit-and-run accident. The driver fled the scene, leaving her seriously injured.

Right now, Addie is dealing with severe injuries, intense pain, and the trauma of what she just went through. She has required emergency medical care, and doctors are still assessing the full extent of her injuries. The next steps—treatment, recovery, and rehabilitation—are uncertain and overwhelming.
