Hi, my name is Aalexa.

I’m a single mother of two, a professional makeup artist, and a small business owner who has always worked to provide for my family. Many of you know over the last year I’ve been transitioning to a new state alone with two kids . I’m usually someone who figures things out on my own—but right now, too many challenges have hit at once.

Recently, my children’s father was involved in a life-threatening car accident. While he recovers and is unable to work, the small amount of support I was used to has temporarily stopped. Even limited support made a difference, and losing it during an already difficult time has added significant strain.

At the same time, I’m dealing with urgent vehicle repairs, paused income, and mounting financial pressure. My car is essential for working and caring for my children, and without it, it’s been hard to regain stability.

I am trying. I am rebuilding. But I’ve reached a point where constantly pushing through at the expense of my mental health isn’t sustainable—for me or my kids. I wear my struggles well, and everything may look fine on the outside, but this season has been deeply exhausting.

Funds raised will go toward:

• Urgent vehicle repairs

• Catching up on essential bills

• Stabilizing transportation and income for my family
