I am raising funds to cover attorney expenses for a sweet friend who is a legal refugee in Minnesota. We helped her find an immigration attorney and are seeking donations to help her cover the attorney fees.

She is currently here as a legal refugee and is pursuing legal permanent refugee status for herself. She is a single mom with two children. It's been a very, very stressful time for her. Many tears have been shed as Venezuela is not safe for her or her children, and she is afraid of being separated from them. She has lost her job due to the ICE action in Minnesota and the subsequent fear of being detained. She had an immigration hearing recently. By the grace of God, she was not detained or separated from her children and is now safely home. But the risk remains.
